Leicester Scrap Processors & Suppliers (LSPS) are a well-established, family company offering a range of waste disposal services to local businesses and homeowners. Although their existing SEO was performing well, they contacted us as their existing website and booking system was clunky and they were no longer happy with how it represented them. We went out to see them to get a better understanding of the business and what they were looking to achieve before setting out a plan of action, which included creating a new bespoke website & booking system along with digital marketing in the form of SEO & Google Ads.
New Website Development
Our team of in-house designers created a bespoke design based on the information provided by the customer of what their wants and needs are along with taking into consideration their user as well to ensure it was as smooth and easy to use. They wanted to push booking skips online and make it short from the first interaction to completing the order, whilst taking payment online. After working closely with the customer throughout the process we built something that was a lot easier to use for their customers and was more aesthetically pleasing than their previous website.
SEO & PPC Services
Once the new website was completed and had gone live, we started working on the digital marketing plan that we had put together by running a mixture of Google Ads and working on their SEO. With their general rankings already performing well we wanted to get them performing even better for a wide range of relevant phrases and keep it maintained at a high level. The PPC was then used to get even more users onto the website and push their brand awareness further throughout the areas they wanted to target.
The results have proved to be very positive, with not just increased rankings and users to the website but revenue through the website has soared because of the ease of use that the design and build brought. We have seen that the bounce rate has massively improved compared to their old website, going from 58% down to 44% meaning a lot more people who are landing on the website are interacting with the website and booking their skips online. Pages per session has gone from 2 pages up to 3.3 so again it shows people are spending more time on the website and booking. Booking completions have also significantly increased on the new website increasing revenue through the website by £100k comparing data against the same time period on the previous website.
